[タイ料理] Khanom Krok, Coconut custard pancake

私はミンです。

This evening, I give you a big special, one pancake very delicious in Thai, called "Khanom Krok".

This names in english might be "Coconut custard pancake". This pancake is made simply from rice flour, coconut, green onion. Simple but really delicious. At the first glance, I did not think it's good. Not having a nice look, quite cheap (20 baht) due to buying from a small food stall on a street near Phra Khanong station. The main reason that I bought that it's similar to one kind of the vietnamese pancake "banh khot".

The image above is "banh khot" in Vietname, same as with "khanom krok" but "khanom krok" is sweet pancake, "banh khot" in Vietname is salt pancake with egg. But in my opinion, "khanom krok" tastes also good too, with coconut milk and onion, seems greasy and sweet, but not too much, it's just enough and make me eat eat again.

If you visit Thailand, please try it at least once time ^_^
