Vietnamese "banh mi" and nostalgia in Thai
みんです。
"Banh mi vietnam" , I really miss it. So hard to find true "banh mi" in Thai. Milk, cheese, bread or jambon are quite expensive in here because no many people prefer them or might be import tax for them are so high, I think.
When I read some blog or feeds about vietnamese food: "bun bo", "pho", "com tam"... many dishes that I love, especially "banh mi" in my mind.
"Banh mi" (バインミー) is common and special dish in Vietnam, its ingredients are simple : pate, some herb and whatever meat you would like to eat, put all of them inside bread and enjoy. Simple but not easy to make, one good "banh mi" needs crispy bread, good pate, salt and greasy mayonnaise, thin enough sliced ham, all of those makes a great "banh mi".
From a big and old vendor as "Hoa Ma" to small stall that you can find wherever in Vietnam, "banh mi" has unique recette, different specificities. it's hard to compare which it's more delicious, even Vietnamese people. Just try and enjoy the difference.
p/s : I will find to make "banh mi" soon in Thai

"Banh mi Nhu Lan" is very delicious. I tried 2 times. Plus, "Banh mi" of "Huynh Hoa", near "Ben Thanh Market" is good too.
