[日記] Kuay Jub Yuan Sai Kai, vietnamese style noodles with egg
Good evening!
I miss my blog for yesterday due to my busy, so I will have 2 blogs today. :D
Yesterday, I ate again noodles ok three days noodles without satiety ^^. I found that in Thailand there are also various kinds of noodles, looks like Vietnam, it's hard to remember all their names. But I think we can separated into two types : clear broth and dark broth.
I ate dark broth noodles in the first two days in Bangkok, so yesterday I decided to try clear broth. I went to Soi 23 near my appartment and I found this one.
After learning some Thai phrase, I can know this food's name by asking food stall owner. It's exactly "Kuay Jub Yuan Sai Kai (ก๋วยจั๊บญวน ใส่ไข่), vietnamese style noodles. Thus, its taste is similar to "banh canh" in Vietnam, but seems slightly different in ingredients.
The broth and noodles are same as Vietnam, viscous and tough, but topping are pork blood, pork meat ball, poached egg and new ingredient is Moo Yor (หมูยอ), vietnamese pork sausage. This bowl has also herbes and garlic like Vietnamese style. Its taste is good for me, because it follows Vietnamese taste ^^. It cost 60 baht for one bowl.
Stop trying noodles in this evening, I will try pork rice and write the other blog soon.
