[タイ料理] Naem Nueang and Sai Ua, Thai grilled pork
ミンです。
I fell sick last night, I don't know the reason why but it was terrible, today I'm fine. Back to write the blog about the food I ate last dinner.
In Thai, there are a lot of grilled food : meat ball, chicken, squid, fish, pork satay, et. Yesterday, I tried two kinds of grilled pork which are "Naem Nueang" and "Sai Ua"
1. Naem Nueang :
- It's really same as "Nem chua nuong" in Vietnam, the fermented pork wrapped in banana leaf.
- Ingredients : minced pork, pork thin and spices, there is no garlic and pepper in Thai
- Taste : a little bit sour and crunchy because of fermented meat and thin.
2. Sai Ua
- It's a Chiang Mai sausage, I really love this one, Thai people use their traditional spices in this sausage
- Ingredients : pork meat, grease, Thai curry paste and herbs, all of them wrapped by intestine
- Taste : spicy and curry taste, so yummy, it's balanced between lean meat and grease, suitable to eat as snack or having with rice.
They cost totally 25 baht, will you try them when in Thai? I will try again.
